A quest to save our Oceans…

My story

Our Oceans are full of plastic.

With over 100,000 lbs of garbage entering the Ocean every 3 minutes, I felt moved to try to do something about it. Spring 2019 I dropped out of college, renovated an old bus, and traveled around the coast of America cleaning our beaches, educating people about single use plastics, and raised money for 501(c)(3) NFP Organizations fighting for our Oceans.

New Campaign 2- Fill-A-Bag

Want to make a difference?  Join us in raising $30,000 for Fill-A-Bag!

Fill-A-Bag works with coastal communities to set up FAB stations that hold reusable bags and buckets, inviting folks to turn daily beach strolls into meaningful clean ups.

By giving people gateway access to clean ups, we not only help to protect our Oceans and marine life, but we also become more mindful of our own behaviors and lifestyle choices.

-Fill-A-Bag exists under the fiscal stewardship of the Key Biscayne Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) NFP.
-If 1,000 people donated just $30 we would reach our goal with this campaign.
-This is my 2nd campaign on the road to raise $1,000,000 for NFPs fighting for our Oceans!!

 7,135 Pounds Pulled

Since I started my project July 15th, 2019, I’ve coordinated over 20 beach cleanups and pulled over 7,00 pounds of trash from our coastline including thousands of cigarettes, straws, caps, and other microplastics.

WE HIT $30,000 RAISED

Over $25K raised for The Ocean Conservancy, A leading NFP fighting for Ocean health since the 70’s! Completing that campaign, now we’re on to Campaign 2 for Fill-A-Bag a NFP based out of South Floria that provides cleanup stations at coastal communities. I created a GoFundMe for them, so each donation gets wired directly to their Organization, each donation is 100% tax deductible.

Take 5 minutes to donate 5 dollars and help me out!!

Best,

-Wavysnell
